Slaven Bilic is ready for a rapid Manchester city response after the Champions League defeat by Juventus.
Slav takes the lads to the Etihad on Saturday (5.30pm) believing there will be no European hangover from Manuel Pellegrini’s men.
He said in his morning press conference:“I would have loved Manchester City to win that game against Juventus because they are probably going to be playing like they need the response.
“But did that game dent their confidence? No they played ok, you have to consider that it was Juventus and they are a team that played in the last Champions League final.
“To be fair City did not deserve to lose that game, they didn’t play great but minimum they deserved a point.
“Manchester City had a couple of really good chances to make it 2-0 but they didn’t – they do need the response.”
I think City would take a point today,
There defence is better than Arsenal or Liverpool but not unbeatable,
We need to play like it is our cup final and we could get the result that would put us in place to go for European Football,
