Alex Song continues to train with West Ham despite his loan agreement coming to an end. Yesterday he posted a video of himself on Instragram training in a West Ham gym with Hammers Sports Scientist Jack Birch. Song was wearing the new West Ham training shorts.
The video re-enforces the view that the 27 year old midfielder has agreed personal terms with the Hammers and it is now just Barcelona who stand in his way of a permanent move to West Ham on free transfer.
Song is expected to undergo a final medical within the next 48 hours and sign permanently if Barcelona agree to terminate his contract without compensation from West Ham
