Special DS praise for criticised Randolph

|

RandolphDavid Sullivan has paid a glowing tribute to Darren Randolph.

The Hammers number two stopper has been in really impressive form since coming in for red-carded Adrian.

And he was at the centre of fierce speculation that the Irons would be forced to go in for Robert Green after showing uncertain pre-season form.

But in his column From the Boardroom at the www.whufc.com website Sullivan – after picking out Dimitri Payet and Victor Moses for special mention, added:  “I also want to pay special tribute to goalkeeper Darren Randolph who has proved a lot of his critics wrong.

I think over the last three games he has shown he’s a very capable, international keeper who will be pressing Adrian all season for a first-team spot.”

Yep,Randolph has done absolutely nothing wrong. All this bs about replacing him with Green from some after a couple of matches, what a load of crap that was,lol 😉

Couldn’t agree more. Has done a sterling job. Sadly the quality of our support has deterioated in recent years – far too many plastic armchair fans with too many ill informed opinions.

Never understood the negativity towards him,he was widely recognised to be one of the best keepers in The Championship.I watched him a few times on Sky & he always looked very good.Mind you having said that many of the people who wanted him booted out didnt even know who he was when we first signed him,lol

Never got involved in the debate because I will only ever judge players I comment on after a fair time on the pitch,it’s always easy to jump on the band wagon,
That is why I am waiting for at least 6 games before I comment on Noble as captain or the style of play we have adopted,
Randolph for me should keep his place against City and until he should be droppe,
The same as Tomorrow and Jenks,
Sakho,Lanzini and Moses should also start unless playing away Slav thinks we need another defender like Obiang,
