Spurs were dumped out of the FA Cup last night by Norwich City on penalties.
The Hammers Premier League game away at Spurs on Friday 20th March seemed odds-on to be re-scheduled until the Canaries threw them out of the cup.
In a twist of fate, it was Gedson Fernandes penalty miss which sealed the North London rivals fate.
West Ham were the front runners to sign Fernandes before Spurs swopped late in to steal the deal away from the Hammers.
Spurs currently sit in seventh place on forty points in the Premier League level with Sheffield United who has a game in hand one place behind sixth-place Wolves on 42 points.
Spurs seem unlikely to secure a top-six finish this season and West Ham have a very real chance of repeating last season away wins.
The Hammers became the first side to beat Spurs in their new stadium when Michail Antonio scored the only score on 67 minutes.
I dont think that the Clarets missed out by not signing Fernandez, I think he`s overrated.
And I hate to say this but I seriously think you can beat Spurs as we are absolute crap & you always seem to raise your game against us.
Nick, we raise our game for all London Derbies your neighbours will find our Saturday.
