Sullivan: “We want Song”

|

alex-song-west-ham (1)David Sullivan has confirmed that the club want to sign Alex Song at the end of the season.

ClaretandHugh revealed last week that the player would become a £10 million plus target at the end of the season and Sullivan has now made it clear we are keen to get the player.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “Could he [Song] leave at the end of the season? Yes he could – loan players always can,”

“Barcelona paid £15m for him. You have to judge him over the season and I think Song has to judge West Ham over the season.

“He loves England and his family loves London. We hope that we can conclude a deal to sign him but if we can’t, we can’t.”
