Sun reports huge Mikey development

|

Mikey Antonio has signed a new contract at West Ham, according to a new report from The Sun.

The newspaper claims that the striker has now committed his future to the club until 2025 after some superb displays thus far this season.

While he has undergone a mini drought recently in front of goal, Mikey has scored nine goals and laid on six assists throughout the campaign.

Having gone eight games without a goal, he has netted twice in three games, against Southampton and Watford, and will undoubtedly be central to the club’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League.

Antonio first penned a new contract 13 months ago but the Hammers held the option to extend that contract and the report claims that they have chosen to do so.

We always rate rumours during the transfer window here but we can see this one being very likely, given that the option exists and Mikey has been in such good form, we can believe this report.
