Hugely impressive Diafra Sakho has been voted the London24Sport Player of the Month for September!
The website received a record number of votes via Twitter with the forward beating off competition from Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris and Crystal Palace’s Yannick Bolasie who came second and third respectively.
Chelsea striker Diego Costa finished fourth despite impressing once again for the Blues but Twitter gave Sakho 39 per cent of the votes to grab the September gong.
It’s a huge achievement for the £3.5 million signing who has quickly become a hero on the Upton Park terraces.
