Big Sam admits Irons have brassed him off (shock)!

|

GoldandsullivanWhat a surprise: Sam Allardyce has finally declared publicly that he’s brassed off with our owners!

His comments about how he believes he was treated can be read on our news page. But before you go there, I can assure you there’s  nothing that will shock you.

Allardyce talks again of doing everything asked of him before he got the boot, before claiming we have no chance of reaching Europe – and he had told the two Davids this would be the case. He also suggests his views on the Irons European chances could have been one of the reasons the club chose not to renew his contract.

The latest instalment in the Big Sam saga has been reported by a Sports news service for Africa and the Middle East called beIN.

I can only speculate why he would choose to speak with such an obscure outfit, but there we are – this is Sam’s world.

Class and style

It’s such a shame that Sam Allardyce could not find a way of moving on with the sort of quiet dignity shown by the new manager. But then miracles are rare.

Slav has had nothing but nice things to say about the man since arriving, showing class and style lacing in his predecessor. Sadly, it’s not been returned via the “no chance of Europe ” remarks.

Nobody at the Boleyn will be surprised that the silence has been broken in such a way. Let’s hope this is an end of it, but I, for one, won’t be holding my breath!

“I did everything they asked for and they wanted more ”
What did he think; that we should stand still??
Of course we wanted more, and we now have the man to do it, without comprimising on our STABILITY going into the OS.
He’s only doing what Redknapp did for the last 15 years; sulking!
I would rather think about tomorrows game.

  • oldiron says:

Really, what did he expect, 3 wins between Christmas and the seasons end, god he is pathetic if that is a criteria to keep your job.

Go away Sam we don’t want to listen to you , you are only making yourself look pathetic .

Go and find a team to manage and leave West Ham alone, we will be fine.

The more you go on and the more people look at your last 4 months of management you will be lucky to get a job.

    Begone and be silent.

I’ve changed my mind. Keep talking Allardyce. The more you say the more you can be seen for what you were. Pathetic..

Apparently the Natural History musuem is making space for when the bones of the newly discovered Egosaurus is dug up – although they do suspect it’ll lack a backbone.

  • essexclarets says:

West Ham being ungrateful…? Really…? They paid him £3m a year & dared to ask for the team to win…. he knew that he wasn’t going to stay for a long long time… No sh*t sherlock.
watching the crap dished up since last xmas you could see he didn’t a toss anymore.
“What is the West Ham way..? Not winning thats for sure” f**k off back too your hole you slimy c**t & shut the f**k up……
………& relax…. glad i got that off my chest 😀

It just reinforces what I always thought of BFS – a nasty bit of work, no class, out of touch, self-obsessed, egotistical, hypocritical, – I could go on…..

  • HamburgHammer says:

Hard to find a more self-promoting, egotistical, deluded, arrogant and bitter manager out there. Things are never his fault, it’s always other people or circumstances.
Why did he leave Bolton ? Well, he told us because that club didn’t match his ambitition.
So now his latest club had ambition, but failed to put that in his job description apparently and didn’t buy Messi for him to achieve that ambition.
Last year we were reminded by those defending and supporting Allardyce that we should be grateful for him helping to stabilise our club.
Which I did in the end despite me still feeling very relieved he’s gone.
After reading all that stuff even my sense of gratitude stats to dissolve.
No matter what happens at our club, even after leaving our club Allardyce will continue to linger: If we do well this season, it’ll all be because of his fantastic groundwork he did in the last four years, leaving Bilic such a brilliant team.
If things don’t go so well, it’ll be because Allardyce is no longer with us.
If he were to manage Barcelona, finishing in ninth place, there would be plenty of reasons for that, but none relating to Allardyce: Bad refereeing decisions, injuries, the moon aligning with Mars, fans’ expectations or a player hitting the post instead of goal.
Each day I’m happier he is no longer involved at West Ham.

Do you always come on here to release the stress, then go back to wetpants to be calm & thoughtful.Guess it aint easy to write this sort of thing on there without geting a Johnsey attack, lmao 😀

      • HamburgHammer says:

Johnsey and I are good. We rarely agree on things, but can still have a discussion without resorting to petty name calling. But it’s true, sometimes I find it refreshing to find myself among people sharing my critical opinion on Allardyce for a change.
I reckon eventuallymore people will come around and see Allardyce for what he really is.

    • Slater says:

      Hello Hamburg,

I used to read the site WHTID and found it very hard to read the stuff written and the attacks and childish ganging up on people who dared criticise Sam Allardyce. It was seeing comments aimed at you that stopped me reading but from time to time I’ve seen them post on here.
I looked on WHTID after the Arsenal match and it was no coincidence that most of the attackers were not commenting after seeing what most of us wanted and demanded from a West Ham team. They betrayed (if they indeed support the club) the club and are a disgrace but now I feel I have my club back, people in charge that understand the West Ham way and the clubs values. Win, lose or draw I hope for a little excitement/entertainment.
Sam’s comments come as no surprise and not worth getting upset about, he’s history.

  • RayStewartsRightPeg says:

I get tired of him banging on about he got promoted as asked. Actually, despite arguably the best squad in the Championship and one of the best transfer budgets, he only managed to luckily scrape through via the Play Offs. Look at the two managers who did better than him in the Championship that sacked – both sacked within months in the PL, one now out of work and the other plying his talents in League 1. Lets not even mention Holloway and Blackpool. I bet none of that is included on his CV!

  • essexclarets says:

If he wants to see someone who is ungrateful, he should look in a mirror. He was paid £12 million in the 4 years he was manager, what did he really think paying him that amount of money was for..? We were the worst team in the PL since xmas last season & only because we had a 4 game winning run the year before that we didn’t get relegated then.

  • bubs says:

Tried to not post but can’t just walk away, but after reading what you have all put and no idiot giving us his views of how good Hippo was, I have nothing to add,
I expect he is waiting to see what happens with the boy before his next attack,
At least he make Friday’s interesting and brings the fans together for the weekend,
Can’t believe that idiot Merson is tipping Leicester to turn us over, never mind a lot of drugs going around this week by some posts why should Merson not do his line and I hope he gets good odds on Leicester he is known for loosing a lot money ( spanner )

  • Green man says:

That fat tub of lard. I don’t know what’s more bloated, his body or his ego. Ungrateful? Gratitude is for someone that does you a good turn or favour, not for when you’re payed to do a job. We had a blinding run up until Christmas which i believe and have always said that it was inspite of Allardyce and not because of him. I also believe that if our season had of been the other way around, this fool would’ve been on gardening leave by New Year and we would’ve been fighting for our lives .. Now you fat troll, eff off and show abit of class eh. Newcastle binned you off. Blackburn binned you off. In short, you’ve been sacked everywhere you’ve been so how can everyone be wrong and you be right? Obviously a rhetorical question as he probably doesn’t read this forum. Ha.

  • hammerman69 says:

F**k off you northern f***ing whippet chasing C**T.
If you was such a great manager you wouldn’t be out of a job and talking on some s**t Arab channel with dumb and dumber. Yes BEin sports is Andy Gray and Richard Keys. Take your prehistoric tactics back with you when Sunderland come calling.
Only got lucky last season when his bum buddy’s Nolan and Carrol were injured.
    F***ING NORTHERN C**TS
Glad I got that off my chest

  • GW says:

It’s amazing that some were calling for his return after a couple of pre season games weren’t you Oslo,Joehammer to name but a few. You want this slug to return because he promotes stability but it’s obvious now he has no ambition to succeed just take a bumper pay check for being mediocre. Shouting from the rooftops calling us rabid dogs, trolls and muppets because a lot of us witnessed bull**** on the pitch and heard nothing but **** from the bull mastiff with chewing gum in his mouth… You bestowed all your gratitude on a man who doesn’t care a toss, shows no ambition and is held high like some kind of messiah by the media for simply achieving **** all, I dont know what’s funnier the media telling us that he’s the greatest or you fans who told us to” Be Careful what we wish for”

  • Bang 'em in. says:

This is just the start of his tirades. All the fans who said he would not disrespect us as a club because he was a good guy.Soon he will let you know exactly what he thought of Irons fans.He cant help himself. His ego takes over & he will be off & running with his thoughts on us & all things West Ham.Whos going to buy his autobiography then?? 😉

  • dhautzig says:

Actually, Hugh, BeIN are far from obscure on a global level. They have an enormous presence here, and were likely in the bidding against NBC for the EPL rights in the USA. They have La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and as someone pointed out below Keys & Grey. They moved to Dubai to work there. And that’s likely why Sam talked to them. Sympathetic ears. Like a total right of Atila The Hun talking to Fox News about human rights.

Anyway, while such stupid tit for tat stuff usually annoys me, I’m hoping Sully has a classic reply in his pocket.

  • whambam says:

To be fair he did everything that was asked of him
    Got us promoted
    Kept us up
Prepared the place for a new exciting new manager
    then best of all
    F*cked off

    • GW says:

What should have happened was got us promoted kept us up for one season then ****ed off. I don’t buy into all this stability bull**** Southampton 2 new managers since promotion never near relegation and dispensed with there manager who led them to automatic promotion unlike the slug… Slav being courteous and concise to the former manager yet this wallowing tub of lard can’t show the same respect which says it all about the man… A career built up on phoney reputation and no success there’s your epitaph you money orientated unambitious sack of ****

  • Roman says:

Why do we have to keep reading about what the moron says? Totally irrelevant today as he was yesterday.

  • pabloonechop says:

The best way to deal with him and all in the media who think that by getting rid of him we have set ourselves up to fail, is to prove him, and them wrong, by the quality of performance on the picth over a whole season. It was clear last year we took our foot off the gas and SA let this happen. Clearly there is much more to the falling out with the owners and this is probably around wasting their money in the transfer market , the freaquent involvement of a limited number of agents, etc etc. He is lucky he wasnt sacked but it was of course sensible, when we were safe, to let his contract expire rather than paying him off.
We know now that nothing is ever his fault but that he will takes the plaudits when anything goes well. Get ready for “i left a solid base’ b****** if we have a good season…
Slav so far sets higher standards and demands more with less excuses.

  • HamburgHammer says:

If Bilic won a cup this season or qualified for the Europa League proper Allardyce would claim this success as his own, he’s a bit like JohnTerry with that…
