Swansea City boss Paul Clement believes Slave Bilic is suffering unfair pressure as he bids to get the Hammrs season back on track.
The Swans boss spoke out on behalf of the Hammers boss declaring: “It is unfair that in such a short period managers are under pressure.
The Hammers boss has been under the cosh almost since the start of the campaign with the Irons suffering poor results despite near fightback against Southamptn and Spurs
And Clement is unhappy at the amount of pressure that has been piled on him and spoke out on the sacking of Frank De Boer at Palace.
He said: “De Boer has gone after four games and after six we are talking about more managers leaving. I know Slaven. I met him when he was Besiktas and he has a lot of passion and experience
I think the fans like him and his personality.
Everyone likes Bilic except from Sahko Snodgrass and some other players. But would say the problem isn’t just from this season’s results from last season and we also lack a clear style of play formations positions tactics etc.
And others would say he was lucky not to get sacked end of last season he has lasted lo her then most and the board are indecisive. Bilic is seems a really nice Bloke but what are we 5 wins in 25+ , most errors to goals since take over and have I believe and a lot do a top ten starting 11 and a thin squad but decent…. Maybe shipping out so many before replacements wasn’t smart.
As far as managers go Bilic gets to lick players yes he didn’t get WC but Conte & Jose don’t even get everyone they want so 4 out of 5 isn’t bad. I believe is 18 highest paid manager for I think not positive £2.8m yearly has had plenty of chances and still does with u would argue the next 5 fixtures are a run of all games we can win. So its a big time for him to Captilise and if he doesn’t im sorry we can’t hold on sentimentality just to go down
Bilic gets to lick players? Is that akin to kissing the Blarney Stone or some other east European ritual I’ve not come across?
John Lyall was a lovely bloke and a good manager but he took us down twice, it didn’t matter so much back then but with the huge amount of money now available to clubs through Sky it’s crucial that we stay in the Premier League, the longer the inevitable is put off the harder it will be to replace Bilic, sorry but the time is now…
To be replaced by who? Don’t be thinking that a worldie all conquering gaffer will suddenly be turning up and making the Poppodom and Captain Slow Ballon dor winners 😆😆 If it’s Moyes or even the slug 🐌 I’m done 😀

Has anybody ever seen an interview with a manager in which he says- well, yes I guess his time is up. He has had two seasons to push the club on & it hasn’t really happened & hisdefensive record is appalling.
Like asking a turkey if he thinks his mates should be eaten at Christmas. Pointless.
That’s directed at Clement by the way. Not insulting other posters, whose opinions we respect at al, times etc etc..
The pressure Bilic is under is more than fair and Hammer is right. We have targets and expectations to deliver and we are currently falling way short. So as in any job, he is being challenged as to why we aren’t performing and what steps he is taking to resolve the issues. Quite right too. And a point will come when he either turns things around or it becomes obvious he can’t. The big question being when will that decision be made?
On the big question of when decision will be made I think if we get beaten tomorrow by a relegation rival it will be made during the international break if we put a few past them and gradually move out of relegation places it will be made at end of season. Whatever public opinion is the chairmen aren’t affected by which I am glad about because it shows they have guts and determination and are willing to stand by their managers despite outside influences, whatever any of us think either for or against Bilic history shows that unless there are dire consequences the manager will usually see out their contract under D&G.
For me he keeps on doing the same thing repetitively , wrong selections , game plans , etc etc
No point in highlighting the problems aired by everyone who posts , far to many negatives for me , nice bloke , really likeable, but he will be gone soon imo , simply because of what I’m looking at for the last 18 months ? No change and a change is what is needed ! But who ??
