Taxi for the Boleyn Ground

|

Taxi1

This taxi will be making a special appearance on the pitch this evening dropping off special guests to meet the 35,000 Boleyn Ground crowd. The full time whistle should be blown for the last time by 9.40pm this evening. The managers and players should complete their media obligations by 10pm meaning the 30 minute end of era show should start just after 10pm. Our understanding is everyone will need to be out of the Stadium by 11pm as a hard finish to the evening’s show.

ClaretandHugh has been asked by the club to keep the contents of the closing event as a surprise, which we agreed to honour but it has already been publicly revealed that the Cockney Rejects will perform their new single Goodbye Upton Park prior to kick off and the club has confirmed themselves that  “the celebrations will also include spectacular lighting, music and big screen video to match the scale and emotion of the evening.”

There will be a present from the club to the fans waiting on their seat when they arrive. The club has reminded that the show can only take place if the pitch is clear straight after the final whistle, so if any supporters enter the field of play after the match, it will mean cancelling all or part of the celebrations.
