The Andy Carroll Yes or No poll

|

Hammer Andy Carroll will return to the West Ham squad after yet another injury following the international break.

The big man made just 22 appearances in all competitions last season before being hit with another ankle injury in pre-season.

AC splits opinion like few others and is very much a Marmite Man as a result – you either do or you don’t. His return will be welcomed by as many who adopt the opposite view of a player who has been plagued with setbacks since his Newcastle days.

So in Claret and Hugh’s latest poll, we want to know – will you be glad to see the big man back as he heads towards the end of his current contract next summer.

So vote now

YES I’m happy to see him back

NO He’s been a big let down

On his day he’s unplayable and you can’t knock him for his work rate. Just far to unreliable you know he’ll be back for a few weeks then out for a few months. It’s a shame because he’s such a good player to have but sadly i think it’s time to let him go. We’d be mad to give him another contract at the end of the season

When his type of player was needed he is a asset especially and mostly because of his heading ability . Now with pace needed in the game and his frequent holidays most seasons of months his a liability. Ex fat Sam’s disaster like the out of touch backward thinking so called modern coaching of allardyce are not wanted at our club and the sooner sold for whatever we can get from another sucker at another club is needed to put towards quality pelle can put towards a left back defender centre mid defensive and another striker after a couple of our not needed players are sold together with Carroll.

I’m afraid this is not a good poll question Sean, it is far too ambiguous. Yes, I am pleased to see the big man back as he heads towards the end of his contract, but he has been a big let down and I only want him back because it gives us the best chance of getting shot of him!

Why would you not be glad to see him back? Makes no sense to be unhappy to have another option, and another member of the squard available.
Especially if we want to proceed in the cups, we need a big team.

Doesn’t mean he has to start or even be on the bench for every game. But I would still rather have him in case we do need him.

I’m as big a fan as you can get for a fit A C and as big a critic when he’s injured for 2 months after chipping a toenail. I’d like to know if West Ham are liable to pay him
or his medical costs if/when he’s injured on the day his contract expires. Where do the clubs liabilities end? COYI
