Top Moyes options for City clash

|

West Ham are hopeful that David Moyes will be in a position to name what he considers his very best side for what could be a magical game against Manchester City on Saturday.

After taking a knock last week and being given the rest of it off we understand James Ward-Prowse is back in training and the only minor concerns surrounds Vladimir Coufal who picked up a knock on international duty.

That is believed to be minor  but he will be thoroughly checked by the club’s medics as soon as he arrives back in London.

As mentioned earlier David Moyes also has a decision to make on Greece defender Konstantinos Mavropanos who is fully recovered from his back problem after scoring two goals against Gibraltar on international duty.

Whether Tomas Soucek can return given the strength of our midfield is a moot point but hopefully – as reported before – we would all be happy to see the exciting Mo Kudus involved with Lucas Paqueta and JWP.

As things stand it looks as though Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals will be on the bench as the manager hopefully goes for real creativity in the middle of the park.
