West Ham hold two options in the Alphonse Areola deal and could sign him either permanently or on loan in the summer, according to a new report.
The Frenchman has impressed throughout his time at the Hammers, particularly in Europe.
He made one exceptional save in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 clash with Sevilla, keeping a clean sheet as the Irons won 2-0 and progressed to the quarter-finals.
We know that the Hammers have an option to sign Areola from PSG on a permanent basis in the summer and The Athletic now reports that there are two options for the Irons.
They could either sign Areola permanently for a fee of around £11m, or potentially bring him back on loan for another season.
It remains to be seen what option the Irons will choose in the summer but they may well decide to bring him back on loan ahead of buying him in the summer of 2023.
