Valencia on way back

ValenciaactionInjured Enner Valencia is set to return to the squad for Sunday’s match against Swansea.

And with Alex Song also likely to join the lads for the clash against the Welsh outfit, that will leave just Diafra Sakho on the injured list – albeit for another month.

Sources inside the Boleyn have revealed to ClaretandHugh that the Ecuador international is now very much on the mend and although Tuesday evening’s clash against West Brom will come too soon for him, a return against Swansea looks “very likely.”

One insider said: “He and Songy look on for the game but there’s real fury still over the Saho injury – it was unforgivable. There’s no chance of the club getting any compensation at all.”

There was a rumour circulating last night that Sakho’s could be back well in advance of the speculated four weeks but manager Sam Allardyce has regularly maintained he has no chance of returning within four weeks.

  1. What were the exact circumstances of the injury? Something to do with a back problem developed while traveling on international duty????

  2. That’s good news!
The return of Valencia and Song can only be great news as both add so much class to the team. Not to mention strengthening our attacking options no end.

I for one can’t wait go see valencia and carroll/zarate and Carroll or any other attacking permutations produced by our returning injured! COYI!
