Former Hammer David Cross was kind enough to show Canning Town Len his significant West Ham kits and boots that had been rediscovered in his loft.

    What an excellent piece from one of my top ten players in fifty five years as a fan. Saw both finals at Wembley. Tough, hard as nails player with plenty of skill. Could really do with him now. Gave the spuds a good going over as well.
