Video: No punches pulled Gonzo’s on the whistle verdict

|

Gonzo is here with an entirely honest and straightforward verdict on a match which should, but probably wont, be Pellegrini’s last as West Ham boss.

We will no doubt get the normal ‘pony’ from other sites but at least you know where you are with Gonzo – he tells it honestly as a guy with crossed Hammers in his heart.

As he explains here “2-3 seems quite close but it wasn’t – they were far better than us.” Sums it up, spot on, beaten by a team with whom the new manager had spent probably three training sessions.

Soon the dust will settle and some serious decision making may be on the way and from where we are sitting that needs to happen very quickly indeed.

Gonzo, meanwhile, probably like many of us, can’t get wildly upset at today’s result because there comes a point where you lack the energy after so many dreadful performances on the bounce.

Tune in to Gonzo – a balanced, honest and sensible report from a guy who refuses to polish a turd just because he happens to be a Hammer.

He’s gone. Put Westley in as caretaker at least. Rafa maybe but we need a radical change. I would keep Nobes, Antonio, probably Rice, Yarmo.. The rest? Bring in the U23’s. Times up.

Have to agree. He has no answers and in all honesty hasn’t for weeks now.Halajko is having a great time with the U23s and we could do a lot worse than bringing him in as a stop gap.Its no good waiting for Pelle to turn things around as it ain’t gonna happen. The whole team is literally a shivering wreck shredded of all confidence and anybody expecting different vs Chelsea is deluded. As Gonzo says. What is the point of starting to play after you gift the opposition 3 goals.Deja Vu every week and a nightmare we cannot wake up from.

Moyes, Pearce, Irvine etc were a great team who were making a real difference. The discipline, the running, the effort, the results. Everything improved under them. A travesty they were sacked after six months thanks to the shiny new toy syndrome suffered by David Sullivan. Too late to bring back the Moyes crew but Quite honestly I would give pellegrinis job to the West Ham u23 coach, dmitri halekjo.
