Vienna ‘assuming’ lockdown means closed doors

|

Rapid Vienna are preparing to play the match against West Ham next Thursday behind closed doors.

That comes after the Uefa media department failed to give Claretandhugh any answers whatsoever for the reasons they banned our fans from the game.

We asked a series of questions – among them why they had failed to explain the situation until days after the apparent invasion of our fans took place at Genk.

We asked for evidence via cc TV  but there was absolutely no response from the media people or anybody else.

Par for the course it seems with that lot.

Meanwhile we have learned this morning that Vienna are preparing for the game to be behind closed doors.

They say that given the lockdown is to ensure that only those going to work can leave their homes  they  are assuming the match will take place without spectators.

As a result of that only those with professional reasons will be able to enter the stadium.

At this stage it’s difficult to say whether, or how many press TV and general media people, will be at the game.
