Vlasic’s Dad may have let cat out of bag!

|

Nikola Vlasic’s Dad has encouraged hopes from those who want to see his som play in tonight’s Europa Cup clash.

Many were seriously encouraged by the £33 million signing’s first appearance as a sub at the weekend in the 0-0mdraw against Saints.

He looked a real menace when he came on for Benrahma, looking dangerous and ready to thrust forward every time he was on the ball.

And although the general feeling is that the manager will leave the team virtually or completely untouched from the game Vlasic is the one change for which some are hoping and other expecting.

Now his Dad Tata claims that he will be getting a start unless of course – as can always be the case something has been lost in translation.

Tata Vlašić, the 23-year-old’s father, made these claims during an interview with Večernji List.

When asked what he expects from the midweek clash, Vlašić Sr said: “I don’t know what to answer. It is important that fans enjoy a good football show. I hope Nikola plays a good game. I know that he will start from the first minute.”

In his pre-match press conference Moyes said Nikola can be deployed across various attacking positions, so it’ll be interesting to see where he’ll operate against Dinamo.

Nikola arrived in London on deadline day and is currently staying in a hotel, until his accommodation is sorted out. The time spent at Everton has helped him settle quickly in the English capital.

“For now, he still lives in a hotel. Such is the procedure in the club. They have a whole team that takes care of the players that come in for the new season. I believe they will find accommodation soon,” Tata explained.

“As for the rest, there is no problem for now. He knows English well because he was already in England when he played for Everton. He knows the league; he gets to know the city…”
