I’m not sure that there will be too many transfers in or out this summer. Areola should now be installed as our first choice keeper, with Fabianski at 38, stepping down as cover. With the signing of Paqueta last summer, opportunities for Lanzini have been very limited this season. So it seems that our number 10 will be available on a free when his contract expires soon. I keep reading that Johnson could soon be on his way out too. It’s not good to see our former academy players leave before they reach their potential.
