West Ham offer for Arsenal striker confirmed

|

West Ham have made an offer to Arsenal for Lucas Perez, according to the player’s representative.

The 29-year-old was part of the squad that played two matches in Singapore but has been left out of the most recent friendlies against Chelsea and Lazio.

“I know that West Ham want him and they have made an offer,” Lucas’s agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle told ESPN FC.

It is an option. Lucas is happy at Arsenal but he wants to play regularly and West Ham is an option for him.

“There are other clubs interested but joining West Ham would allow him to continue in London and in the Premier League and Lucas wants to continue in London.

“In Spain there are also interest from some clubs, but they are not willing to assume the transfer.”

Having signed from Deportivo La Coruna just two years ago for £17.5 million, it looks as though we’re willing to take a big hit on the financial front with a fee of £4- £5m being reported.

Why dont we all just gather after the 1st home game and and commit a mass suicide? Lol …….. if Arnie and chicha stay fit he will be our 3rd choice striker and 4/5m i think its good business

Shut the hell up, only Liverpool have spent more than us and most of that was on a goalkeeper, he played in 2 of their preseason games so how is that discarded.

  • ozzie says:

If true, and it happens at the £4/5m being banded about would be very good business.

Discarded by Arsenal, I just don’t think signing an Arsenal discard is good business, we already have one Arsenal discard. Still buying rubbish.

ffs Johnham, are you sure your a West Ham supporter and not a closet spud sent on here to cause unrest and disgruntlement. Everybody is entitled to their opinion but you just regurgitate the same old bile day after day. If we do well this season and finish top ten, will you please promise to stop driving everyone mad. PS every player that is ever signed (unless out of contract) is someones discarded player.
