West Ham reveal truth on “second Arsenal bid”

West Ham have again confirmed there has been no second bid for Declan Rice despite widespread reports to the contrary.

The Gooners have made no improvement at all on the £80 million plus £10 million extras which the Hammers immediately snubbed out of hand.

West Ham reveal no second bid from Arsenal

But several reports in the mainstream press this morning (Tues) claim that another has – or is about – to be put in but speaking to Claret and Hugh exclusively our top source denied anything has happened since the first refusal.

Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Declan expects to be a Gooner by the end of June but there remains no sign of that being the case at all.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are all expected to come in for the player and this one looks set to run and run – certainly into July.

Our source explained: “There has been no second offer from Arsenal, nor have we heard through intermediaries that one is on the way. We are in no rush to sell Declan – these are early days in the window.”

I dont know if it’s just me but I have already heard too much info on the Rice transfer. Big news on sky just have had enough of it and the sooner the deal is fine the better for everyone. Yes he has been brilliant and yes he will be a massive loss but I have long accepted he is leaving it is just a matter of negotiations at this stage. I would much prefer to get updates or news on new players joining us. For me the rice transfer is old news. What annoys me is people reporting that we have to wait for the money from the rice sale to do our business. I do not believe that at all. So let’s start doing our business and focus on this and getting these updates, not the constant reporting about the Rice transfer.
