Bowen: “We’ve got the best fans”

Few would argue that Jarrod Bowen has been on of the Hammers best signings in years and years.

And it is great news the club is currently holding talks with the player as they bid to increase his contract from 2025 to 2028 or even longer.

Bowen cannot believe the progress he has made since joining the Hammers and is regularly explaining how much he loves the club and the fans

A little over three years later, the 26-year-old possesses four England caps and now has his hands on a winners’ medal for a major European competition – a feeling he will never forget.

Bowen: We’ve got the best fans, to do it as abig family is special

So long after the event he remains thrilled an unable to get over the experience and the parade on an open top bus which was clearly one of the most thrilling moments of his life.

And speaking to the official; West Ham, site he said: “It was a dream to win it. I’ve never experienced anything like this feeling, and then the bus parade after.

“When you saw how many turned out, like I said after the game, you can see how much it means to the fans.

“That’s why we wanted to win it, for the fans, and to celebrate with them on the parade was top.

“I just keep smiling, it’s the best feeling and I never thought I’d win a European trophy.

“I’d never won a trophy before, so to win it in Prague was the best night of my career so far.

“We’ve got the best group and we’ve got the best fans, so to do it all together as one big family is special.”

I love that Jarrod loves the club and it’s fans. And I was very happy that it was him that scored the winning goal in Prague. It was magic. Thank you too Jarrod!
