West Ham has signed up two experienced players.
Seventy-one-year-old Billy Bonds from Woolwich, London can play right back, defensive midfield or centre back and has great leadership skills.
He is described as a future captain and manager while 69-year-old Trevor from Barking can play on the right wing or the centre of midfield. They bring a wealth of experience to the Hammers squad. Trevor is said to be good with his head especially in FA cup finals.
They both have 42 playing years of experience between them having made over 1,400 appearances. Bill has been described as an enforcer while Trev is a creator. Both won’t break the bank or affect Financial Fair Play as they are said to earn around £750 per week each and will cost no more than £50,000 in transfer fees.
New boss 64-year-old Pellegrini said “Sure they are slightly older than me and a bit slower but my fitness guy will whip them into shape in the pre-season training camp”
Welcome Bill and Trev!
Very good Sean 🙂
If only they were 50 years younger !!! Yes echoing Ray brought a smile to my face !
When I saw the shirt ad. it did cross my mind that they both look to be in better shape than me that’s for sure.
I’m sure that they’d both do a better job than a few we’ve had recently…
True legends and having been fortunate enough to meet both, true gents too.
