Charlie Nystrand-Sacaneno will join the West Ham academy from Swedish division 2 side Hittarps IK.
The 15 year-old will leave Hittarps IK for the Irons next week and will immediately join the U16 squad confirmed the Swedish press. HIK announced yesterday: “A huge experience and one of our HIK youths has taken part in with such an opportunity is truly amazing.
“A wonderful message for HIK, and not least for all the fine leaders who trained and educated him over the years.
“In one week, the prospect will move to East London and start a new exciting football life.”
Midfielder Peter Stroud has also signed for West Ham. The 16-year-old is a current member of the US U17s and was previously a member of the New York Red Bulls Academy. American Soccer press said “Congrats to 16-year-old US U17 player Peter Stroud as he leaves the New York Red Bulls Academy and joins West Ham United”
Portuguese newspaper the Record announced on Tuesday that West Ham had agreed a deal to sign the 21-year-old Vitoria Guimaraes forward Xande Silva. It is reported that the Portuguese youngster will move to the London Stadium for a fee of around £1.3 million plus £1.8m of potential add-ons.
Today fellow Portugese media outlet O Jogo are reported that Silva said goodbye to his Vitoria team-mates yesterday and is now travelling to London for a medical as his move to West Ham edges ever closer. It is reported that he will sign a contract until 2021.
