West Ham target earns a whopping £200k per week
West Ham target and Al-Ittihad’s winger, Jota, is currently earning a whopping £200,000 per week, according to numerous reports.
The skilful former Celtic player is being pursued by the Hammers as an alternative to Ibrahim Osman, whose transfer is becoming more complicated by the minute.
It was believed that Saudi club Al-Ittihad were willing to loan Jota to West Ham on the condition that the Hammers paid his wages in full. For obvious reasons, this has caused a massive stumbling block in the club’s pursuit of the player.

However, it appears that Jota is so keen to leave the Saudi Pro League that he’s willing to take a pay cut to join West Ham and resurrect his career. Unfortunately, with little time remaining in the transfer window, it could prove difficult to close either of these complicated transfers.
Quite why West Ham have left their transfer business so late in the window is anyone’s guess. Surely, with a director of football in place, potential targets should have been identified in November and December to allow for early bids
