West Ham transfer latest update

|

Ryan Fredericks is not quite the done deal some media reports are suggesting today.  The 25-year-old free agent remains in Las Vegas celebrating Fulham’s promotion to the Premier League.

Just Twenty-four hours ago Sports agency Unique Sports Management run by CEO Will Salthouse announced that Fredericks had signed for their stable.

USM and Salthouse are also the agents for Hammers Michail Antonio, Pedro Obiang, Chiek Kouyate and Aaron Cresswell.

Fredericks and his new agent are expected to meet with West Ham on Monday morning where they hope to conclude a deal which should result in a 5-year contract. However Fulham, Southampton, Crystal Palace and two as yet unnamed clubs have not given up their pursuit and it would be over until Fredericks puts pen to paper and signs his contract.

Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney also in Vegas and is also a client of Unique Sports Management but Fulham have made it clear to West Ham he is not for sale at any price.

What a terrible signing, I am sick of buying crap right backs. Please do not sign this lad – he is Jenkinson in disguise.

    Who would you suggest?

Well looks like we are signing Fredericks. I can’t help thinking this is a signing carried over from previous regime, rather than being anything to do with Pellegrini. However, I will look at it as being an upgrade replacement for Byram which I think might be the intention, in which case it’s not a bad signing. He definitely has great pace. Hopefully pellegrini can help improve everything else in his game and help him to make the step up. It will be good for him to learn from the likes of Zabaleta because Zabaleta will already know exactly what pellegrini requires.

Sorry but I disagree, He could turn out to be a brilliant signings.
Especially getting him on a free, he could be worth 20-25 mil at the end of the next season.

Also you slate Jenkinson, but tbf he had a great first season with us.

Any Fullham fan will tell you they are gutted he is leaving, and lets be honest Fulham played a lot better football then we did last season.
