ver 30% of 1,100 Claret and Hugh readers taking part in a poll believe West Ham will score 61-65 Premier League points this season with another 30% of readers saying 56-60 points is possible. Just over 15% of those voting said 51-55 points is doable while an optimistic 14% reckon West Ham can get to the dizzy heights of 66-70 points with 2% saying 71-75 points and a further 2% saying 76 points or above can be done!
Just under 5% of those voting think the Hammers will score 46-50 points and a pessimistic 1% say 41-45 points is the most likely while less than half a per cent says under 4o points is our doom.
It is encouraging to see that over 64% of those polled believe we will score points than last season.
The board and Pellegrini are believed to have a very ambitious points target although their primary goal will finish higher than tenth in the Premier League this season.
First of all I want to say I am happy with everything to do with the club, signings, manager the board etc. However seeing how all the other clubs in PL are investing I think we could finish anywhere from the bottom 3 to 7th and to expect higher than that would be fanciful. Finally I like the look of this Cardoso boy.. has a bit of the old “Dailly Flare” about him
