Guest post by Paul Christmas
On behalf of WHUISA I attended the Supporter Advisory Board (SAB) meeting on Tuesday 24th Jan at the London Stadium. Nineteen other supporters attended along with nine representatives from West Ham.
The meeting was chaired by Karren Brady and Tara Warren. It lasted for about three hours. People were invited to ask questions to a panel which included a representative of LS185.
Every single email (over 200) from a member who responded was taken to the meeting and I used members information where possible on all subjects raised. The meeting was open, not held under Chatham House rules and there were no non-disclosure agreements.
The club will publish minutes shortly and a full report from notes taken will be published as soon as possible for our members.
During the course of the evening lines of communication were firmly established with club. The club also recognised the hard work put in by the association to get to this current point in a short space of time and for the contribution made by its members to the meeting.
I met briefly with most / all other SAB members present. It was good to hear their points of view in the meeting and speak to them afterwards. They were made aware of WHUISA and given one of our business cards.
WHUISA look forward to further working closely with the club and other SAB members where possible on all matters raised by our membership for the benefit of West Ham United Football Club.

I didn’t join as I saw the WHUISA as a rabble rouser group who would look to hinder and disrupt the club rather than work with it with the fans interest a top heart. It remains to be seen if that’s true or not. What do they do when there is nothing to complain about?
The club electing to meet with the blog sites as rather dented the WHUISA’s impact as well as the blogs do represent the fans. I’m very happy that Sean represents this site. KUMB has 22,000 members so UTJ attending represented a considerable number of fans as did Sean representing C&H.
When are you going to show us the C&B flag Sean? KUMB are producing one also. Worth a visit to their forum to reading suggesting wording. Knees Up Mrs Brady was favourite. I won’t repeat the naughty ones here as i know Hughie is sensitive!
They should have just called it The Nigel Kahn Roadshow.Everyone can go along & pretend they actually give a toss what he says.He does after all represent 90% of the fan base if you listen to the legend in his own lunchtime.
Yeah Colin just noticed he has posted an article on the WHUISA site slagging off the club and the SAB. Also posted photos of banners calling for Brady to be kicked out and saying “no to Stratford” over on the Wetties site. I’m happy I never paid my fiver to have him represent me.
The man bores me stupid. In 30 years time he will still be stood on Green.St with banners saying Say no to Stratford. He is a yawn.
