Yarmolenko update

West Ham remain on line to announce their fifth signing of the summer over the next few days when Borussia Dortmund winger Andriy Yarmelenko looks all set to put pen to paper.

The Ukranian flew into the Swiss training camp yesterday where he completed a medical and looks likely to have ironed his personal terms out before the end of the week.

The official announcement – should the deal go through as expected – will be made on www.whufc.com over the coming days.

The Yarmelenko swoop took most by surprise but confirms the speed with which Manuel Pellegrini and his director of football Mario Husillos want to get their business done.

  1. He reminds me a bit of Arnie. I like the idea of him on the right, Arnie on the left. I’m a fan of symmetry and this seems to have a natural balance about it.
