Young Irons beat Real Madrid’s kids

West Ham’s U18s have scored an amazing win over Real Madrid to grab third place at the Champions Cup invitational tournament.

Hosts Tottenham Hotspur invited the Irons youngsters to the event and we beat Liverpool 2-0 and lost 1-0 to  Benfica in Group B on Friday. Jordan Brown scored both goals against Liverpool 

The Benfica defeat left the Hammers second in Group B and that saw them paired with Group A runners-up Real Madrid.

Marcus Browne’s direct free-kick gave the Irons a lead in two minutes and they grabbed  a second midway through the second half when  a Djair Parfitt-Williams’ corner was headed home by Emmanuel Onariase.
