Zaha? Let’s remember Masuaku

Zaha – presenting a picture of innocence!

The Wilfried Zaha spitting incident has been given plenty of exposure on here and we make no apologies for that!

But let’s get something clear, none of us, as demonstrated in the reports and blogs we have posted on the game, are attemptingĀ  to camouflage a poor performance by the Irons.

Its a criticism that has been levelled more than once since we first decided to draw attention to the Zaha incident which is frankly utterly disgusting.

Let’s remember Arthur Masuaku was banned for six weeks when he spat directly at a Wigan player during an FA Cup match against Wigan during David Moyes’ reign.

Ok Zaha’s spitting incident may not have been as clear cut as that but events have transpired since which can only bring most to an obvious conclusion.

That he should post on Instagram claiming his innocence before withdrawing itĀ  when a wide angled video of the incident emerged speaks volumes.

OK, nothing can be done about it now by the PL’s rulers but in our view Zaha deserves the bad publicity he is getting universally.

When spitting, the person responsible may be intending to ensure that people know they hold the recipient in the lowest form of contempt.

But the truth is that such behaviour is associated with the lowest of the low and they deserve all the contempt THEY deserve big time.

Si it’s waffle is it? If it had been the other way round I’m sure you and your supposed fans would have had something to say! Noticed you had nothing to say about the brainless moron that threw a flair and just missed a photographer, apart from the damage to the carpet, which I trust Palace will pay for repairs. So you beat us by a penalty and a highly dubious VAR decision which took all of 5 minutes to sort out. The result is irrelevant it’s the behaviour of your players and fans that need to be looked at.Sorry to waffle on.
