Haller holds his hands up

|

Seb Haller has held his hands up after the Palace defeat and taking responsibility for his own part in the defeat.

The central striker saw a point blank shot saved in the first half and despite scoring his fourth goal of the season realises that he had a part to play in the reverse.

Despite heading the CandH fans’ ratings he’s aware that he and the team must do better although many would claim that in playing one up, he was starved of service from a slow moving midfield.

And there are those who believe that the manager will need to play two up if w are to see the best of our record signing this season.

Either way, the Frenchman is not ready to exclude himself from criticism after being beaten by a team which frankly was their for the taking on a day when the Hammers looked lifeless for long periods.

And speaking at https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2019/october/07-october/sebastien-haller-we-have-improve he said: “I think we could have won this game but it’s the Premier League and everything is about small details but maybe we, or I, should have scored earlier.

“But that’s football. We missed some chances, me first, and I should have been more efficient but that’s football, unfortunately, we conceded some goals and it’s very frustrating, especially at home.

Haller’s fast start to life in Claret and Blue means he has been directly involved in five goals in his first seven Premier League appearances for the Club – third in the competition’s history behind Diafra Sakho and Dimitri Payet.

He will seek to continue that impressive run when West Ham return to action at Everton after the international break.

Should he do so, the Hammers will have every chance of returning to winning ways at Goodison Park.

“Now, the only thing we can do now is go forward, just work and focus on our mistakes and that’s it,” he confirmed.

“We have to improve. We were on a good run and we want to to keep going like that. We know we have important games in the future so the only thing we can do is just work and just stay together.”

Refreshing to hear , I don’t think he’s entirely to blame though the ball was not moved quick enough . He makes a good point though it’s about hard work so I hope we learn . COYI ⚒

At last good to hear someone talking reponsibility for West Ham failure. Something that is so lacking from Pelligrini and the skipper. Pablo Zab also very candid in terms of showing his feeling for the disappointed support. And then Seb Haller, we still are enjoying your commitment in good performances, son. God bless.
