Zouma update

|

By Hughie Southon

Kurt Zouma will be scanned tomorrow (Mon) to see precisely what he may or may not have done to his ankle.

The central defender was forced off early after a challenge, went down, tried to run off the problem but eventually was forced off.

It allowed the ‘the’ thousands of cat lovers were forced to stop the incredibly boring booing aimed him every time he was on the ball despite none of us being able to agree with his domestic circumstances and his treatment of the pet cat.

Claretandhugh learned tonight from our sources that Zouma – according to the medics – has a sprained ankle but that the usual checks will be done to ensure a scan knows nothing worse.

There remains a 50-50 chance therefore that he will be available for the match in Lyon, especially important as we will be without Aaron Cresswell – criminally red carded in the first.

Ben Johnson could still be missing with a tight hamstring.
