Sources at West Ham refused to deny an interest in the 27 year old when CandH approached them this morning but it’s clear Fulham do not want to sell Cairney.
They have said publicly the club does not intend to lose any of their key players in the January transfer window confirming David Moyes’ comments that it’s “really hard” to do business in this window.
The 27-year-old arrived at Craven Cottage two years ago from Blackburn Rovers and has made 18 appearances for the Championship club this season, scoring one goal.

I like Cairney but 27 & if going to spend £20m should go for Maddison who is having better season on par to have better season then Cairney did last season which was his best. So if going for AM in Championship should go for Maddison.
Actually think his teammate Johansen would better suit us now CM/DM who can pass & is physical now that we got Mario.
