Report: Hammers in chase for Munoz

|

images (16)Reports are emerging from Italy this evening that the Irons are interested in signing Palermo forward Ezequiel Munoz.

The Argentine is one of a number of players the Serie A side need to tie down or risk losing  in the summer when his contract expires.

But the Irons will face competition from Spurs, Everton  and Newcastle  who also fancy the 24 year old.

The Hammers were today reported by an Italian media agency as “monitoring his situation”  and are looking to take advantage of his free status at the end of the season.

The player is free to talk to us in the  New Year regarding a pre contract.

Palermo have been holding talks with his representatives to come to an agreement on his contract extension but as yet this hasn’t happened.
