Magic Manu has last laugh over sad Reece James

|

Lanzini and James clash

The more eagle eyed supporters will have noticed a very sweet Manu Lanzini moment this afternoon as he prepared to take his penalty.

Chelsea’ Reece James simply wouldn’t get out of the box and was having some big verbals into the Hammers midfielder’s ‘shell-like’ in an unprofessional attempt to put him off.

But the Argentine international – making a thoroughly well deserved start – simply ignored him until Mike Antonio arrived in the penalty area and bustled the Chelsea geezer out of it.

Given that Manu has experienced a long absence from the first team it could have been an anxious moment but instead he smashed home a beauty…the best was yet to some however.

The number 10 made something of a bee line to James afterwards , squared up to him and bumped shoulders with the England international, exchanging heated words.

Last laughs are always the best laughs.

What was even more enjoyable was that he then spotted a TV cameras and made sure he crossed his arms in the Hammers sign.

Gotta love our Manu!
