Bookies issues latest odds on Slav’s job

|

slavbilSlaven Bilic’s odds of being the next manager out of a job have been slashed to 3/1 with Skybet.

Despite the board’s vote of confidence – or maybe because of it – the Irons boss is now second only to Sunderland’s David Moyes in the ‘for chop’ stakes.

Only two weeks ago the Irons boss was priced around 33/1  to leave his jobs but he now looks as vulnerable although victory over Swansea on Saturday could see them lengthen considerably again.

Bookies refuse to  take big wagers on these novelty bets and are as likely to react to media rumours like the rest of us so pinches of salt need to be kept nearby.

In reality there is no chance of Slav being sacked before the end of the season according to our sources so our advice is keep your money in your pockets as Premier League survival would probably see him go into his third year.

Really? Surely not if we finish in the bottom 8. The owners would let him spend some more of their dosh in the summer? Does he know something about their private lives by any chance?
