|

West Ham United: Rush Green Training Ground General ViewsThe club made a point to release a video on Facebook yesterday of players not on International duty training hard at Rush Green.  Ogbonna, Sakho, Noble, Carroll, Collins, Adrian, Byram, Antonio,  Reid and Zabaleta were all featured in the video.

Marko Arnautovic (Austria), Andre Ayew (Ghana), Chicharito (Mexico),  Conor Coventry (Republic of Ireland U19), Aaron Cresswell (England), Edimilson Fernandes (Switzerland), Jose Fonte (Portugal), Sead Haksabanovic (Montenegro), Joe Hart (England), Dan Kemp (England U19), Cheikhou Kouyate (Senegal), Arthur Masuaku (DR Congo), Rihards Matrevics (Latvia U19), Domingos Quina (Portugal U20), Anthony Scully (Republic of Ireland U19) and Nathan Trott (England U20) will return from international duty this week.

James Collins was called up for Wales but appears to have returned early to West Ham for reasons unknown. Andre Ayew and Edimilson Fernandes have both picked up injuries from International duty and are unlikely to be available for Monday’s game. Manuel Lanzini continues to struggle from a knee strain and is also unlikely to be fit for the game against Huddersfield.

We need something nearly special on Monday. Fernandes out, Ayew out. Surely there is a place for Holland at the very least on the bench.

  • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

Carols fit , expect hoof ball as there’s no creativity in the side !!
Plus noble will defo start , give Vic a go , so its all down to Antonio to graft his nuts off again
But don’t be surprised if Antonio is played up top along side the pea , big game this, can’t wait to see the team that starts , no lanzini is bad news lol.
    😁

  • Tony Hammer 61 says:

Time for Haksabanovic? He has played the last 2 seasons in the top division in Sweden. Get him on the bench at least Bilic

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

Although this is related to international duty and Fernandes got injured we were told last week that Bilic had a full squad to choose from… more misinformation I guess ?

  • master says:

who actually stated we had a full squad?

I really do get concerned with people confusing official club information with stuff they’ve seen or heard either indirectly or directly from twitter, sites like this, forums etc. it leads to all sorts of confusion and pointless over-reaction. rumors and malicious ‘info’ are so easily spread and believed these days.

  • mooro66uk says:

Seems some don’t care where it comes from as long as it gives them the opportunity to over react, wring their hands and throw accusations about.

  • JMan43 says:

Just for the record it was stated on this site that Bilic would have a full squad to choose from but they was a little previous as not all the internationals had been played.

  • Travis says:

No it said West Ham are set to have the entire squad fit for the clash with Huddersfield. Not Will have have the entire squad fit in the article.

  • Pessimist says:

Isn’t the point Mr B was “happy with his squad”. We all knew he needed a bigger squad but he didn’t. Why not send a few more young players off to other sides ? We have plenty of 30 + players to use why worry. Can’t we dash in a get another free transfer ? Support the side yes, but not protest and put up with stupidity like this in the future no, protest is a MUST.

  • JRS says:

Lanzini is out Ayew mist likely and Fernades.
Be mad to start AC and play a 4–2-3-1. Kouyate and Obaing are fit they should start not Noble.
