Mark Noble protester releases statement

|

A West Ham fan who claims to be the pitch invader who was tackled by Mark Noble has made a statement on Social media.

The supporter says “I want to write to Twitter to West Ham fans, my fans, my beloved team, it was a moment of stupidness from me but passion took over and I stepped  (over) the line and went on the field but I went on there with two things in my head. One, to get the point across I want the board out which was on the poster in my hand and also to wake the team up. You can clearly see that I’m waving my hands up at the players to wake them up, I was even shouting Wake Up West Ham and then out of nowhere Mark Noble came at me. One, I never said anything offensive to Mark Noble, he was clearly pissed off with the situation, but for someone, I look up to and watched for years done this. I’m embarrassed, ashamed but he didn’t need to do that. I was going to run straight off after getting to the centre circle. All I want you lot to know is I didn’t say anything offensive to Mark Noble and I am sorry.  COYI”

What is it with these people that they think they can wriggle out of the consequences of their actions with mentions of ‘desperation’ (the flag waver) and ‘passion’ (this ****)? He disrupted the rhythm of the game and it was no surprise when Burnley scored again two minutes later, in a game we had dominated and could still have got something out of.

So Mark Noble ‘didn’t need to do that’. Oh, no? Remember, you idiot – YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE PITCH! If you don’t like the stadium, don’t come…….oh hang on, with your season ticket rescinded, you can’t, can you?

  • Mr Buddy Lurve says:

If this guy cannot fathom why Mark would react like that, being the captain of the team this guy is disrupting, with Mark clearly already upset about the fact we were losing and, oh yeah, the small matter of an angry guy running towards him when he shouldn’t have been there, then he’s more of a nutcase than I already thought. Fine, apologise, but don’t go making out like Mark acted irrationally – he had the full backing of all us sensible, normal fans.

  • Innocuous Sparrow says:

He thought invading the pitch was a good idea to wake the players up and get them focused on the game? He’s clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

  • I'm Not the Answer to Our Right Back Problem says:

Great!! that makes it all better.
The FA will not impose sanctions and fines on us now and will let us re-play the game as we have a couple of weeks off from the League at the moment.
It all came good in the end, what a champion you are or do I need Chump!!
    Noble you are a Legend!

  • Clive says:

i think noble could have a new career as a cage fighter after he hangs his boots up. this guy was lucky to be led away by stewards. the two who got away into the east stand got a severe slapping from people in the crowd.

  • JMan43 says:

There are many of us who believe we have been fed nothing but lies by the owners but we didn’t run on to the pitch; you had other options to protest and that you decided to choose this one cannot be justified or excused away!!
