Antonio doubt

|

AntonioMichail Antonio may be struggling to make the first match of the season at Manchester United.

The Hammer of the Year has joined the rest of the squad in Austria under the new policy of taking everybody on pre-season whether they are fully fit or otherwise.

The club’s most versatile player has been rehabbing through the summer from a bad hamstring injury and is getting closer to a full recovery but reports from inside the squad claim that he may be struggling for the first game.

Both Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll are training but have yet to get involved in contact stuff with the rest of the boys but this is seen as a precautionary move by new medical head Gary Lewin.

Despite reports that Winston Reid continues to struggle with a knock we have been told he will be fit for the start of the campaign with Cheik Kouyate the only other player currently injured and being assessed.

If he misses the first game or two no problems so long as he comes back fully fit that’s ok, we have plenty of cover in his position fortunately even if he is the best of them.

Just don’t rush him some one criticised me for pushing him in when injured but only reason I do is bc he is instrumental to our club and need him fully fit bc rather loose him.for a game or two then he upset injury worse and be out for longer
