Arnautovic ready for Leicester!

|

arnau2Marko Arnautovic is set to play against Leicester City on Friday night.

The Austrian will have his damaged hand well wrapped and presumably receive pain killers in order to take his place after learning that there was no break to his thumb.

We have learned this afternoon that he was taken off against Watford after pleading to be allowed to continue and is ready to make himself available and will go through the pain barrier if necessary against the Foxes at the London Stadium.

It’s a great response from the Hammers wide man after David Moyes had challenged him to become a team Player in the build up to the Watford match.

James Collins too is back in training and is likely to be available to the manager but Michail Antonio is unlikely to make the game.

He is still feeling his injured ribs but could be back with the squad for the game against Everton at Goodison Park.

That’s a positive piece of news ! Its the balls over the top for vardie and mouraz with their pace thats the problem ! Moyes hands are tied ! Going to be interesting to see the line up after Sunday ? We need to score more than them maybe ?

    Thumbs up from me! (oops)

Excellent news. Lots of people mocking hm for his display of pain on the pitch, but remember that the hands have tons of nerve terminations, and any type of pain sensation is multiplied by x. So yes, I am sure he was really in acute pain. Messi got stepped on his hand by Pepe the psychopath several years ago, and it was something similar. Nobody cried foul. So let’s give the player support, he really showed great improvement against Watford.

    Pepe the psychopath 😂😂
Not wrong , any chance of him coming in Jan. 😂

Lanzini gave the ball away so many times it looked like a raffle . It shouldn’t matter where you play , a football player should be able to control the ball better than that ,,!,.
Anautovic rolled about like he was bombarded by grenades , no steel .
Carroll was getting on with it whilst others were just happy to stroll about . ( lucky to escape a nasty red card ? ) maybe .
The list of blame is endless . Leicester were Premiership Champions two years ago and are now only just that little bit better than Us . It’s all to win . If Moyes can’t sort it then get Pardew .

Anautovic better be ready for something because he hasn’t been since we signed him .

Arnie? Go through the proverbial pain barrier if necessary? He demonstrated on Sunday that there is no chance of that happening, I thought his arm had been torn off.

Please somebody tell me what is wrong with Antonio’s ribs !! From what I remember- it was weeks ago- it was an impact injury. So presumably this would give you pain & bruising. Unless rib(s) were actually broken you would recover from that in no time. And didn’t he come on the week after the injury against CP? Is there a doctor in the house?

There is something odd about the way his condition has evolved. Truth is he must have suffered a severe blow when hit. On replay you can even see him expectorating everything he has in his stomach because of the impact. After that, he played against Palace and should not have. Just remember how he played. But truth is he should have recovered by now if it was only bruising.

    • JRS says:

Agreed he should be back & read he wanted to play. Aguero come back after couple weeks w broken ribs.
      His situation has been strange

  • Hammer64 says:

Too much info there Dunlopilo lol. Just had me brekkie! I didn’t see him being ill. That must have been some hit then. Maybe damaged some internal organs..Oh well, according to another article that has just appeared he has recovered now. Outside chance of playing on Friday apparently…
