‘Arnie’ gets the full Stoke fan treatment

|

Marko Arnautovic has received a backlash from fans who have accused him of moving to West Ham solely for money

Marko Arnuatovic’s move to the Irons has been greeted with the type of antagonism we saw associated with Dimi Payet’s departure from the London Stadium.

Stoke City fans have made their feelings about things by filming themselves attempting to set fire to his old number ten shirt.

They shared it online and chanted in unison  “money, money, money, f*** off Arnie, you’re a greedy c***” as two Stoke fans hold the shirt, while a third puts a lighter to it.

After joining us Arnautovic said: “It feels special to me to be a West Ham player. Everyone knows that West Ham is a big club, with a big history and I’m happy to be part of it now.

Meanwhile, Stoke enjoyed an impressive pre-season win German runners-up RB Leipzig winning 2 -1.”
