Batshuyi – looking for Champions League football

Michy Batshuayi will leave Marseille this summer it has been revealed today in the French media.

The Belgian striker has been in excellent form this season, scoring 22 goals and providing 9 assists in the French Ligue 1 and domestic cup competitions.

Marseille’s financial problems mean they are under great pressure to sell Batshuayi  and caretaker manager Franck Passi says it’s clear he will be sold.

‘I think everyone knows he will leave,’ he is quoted on Le 10 Sport. ‘It is included in the specifications that Michy will leave’.

Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham are all thought to have the talented 22-year-old, who looks ideally suited to the Premier League, on their summer target lists.

Pretty clear he was going to leave a couple of weeks ago when he gave his interview about staying & his long-term future was still there. As soon as he said that you knew he was going to be out of the door. You had to have a low IQ to believe he ment any of it 🙂
