Oh dear
That was not very good, not very good at all.
All the lack of direction and general confusion behind closed doors at the London Stadium is now being mirrored on the pitch.
It took only 8 minutes for the Irons to concede, when Hofmann scored from a sweetly hit free kick just outside the box which hit the inside of the far post into the net.
You would have thought that would have galvanized the Irons but it did not, as on the 24th minute that man again, Hoffmann, laid on a pass for Boniface to slot pass Fabianski.
We did have a chance on the half hour mark when Soucek headed against the bar from a Bowen corner.
On the 38th minute after some sloppy play we conceded again when Boniface scored his second drilling the ball into the bottom left corner
The second half was much of the same with Leverkusen having the lion’s share of possession which eventually culminated in a penalty after a foul by Aguerd.
Andritch duly slotted home
There was only one team in this, and it shows in the scoreline.
I know it is only a friendly but, we really need to get our act together before our visit to Bournemouth,
This is Moyes football, it’s that simple and there the problem. He never drifts away from playing 2 DMs. We were 3-0 down at ht and kept both Downes and Soucek on for basically the entire game. They were both atrocious. Was he defending a 3-0 deficit !!!. I dont want to see either of them in a west ham starting team. We need to play only one DM as evertime we win the ball back we have nothing ahead of us to go forward, we are smothered by the way Moyes sets up the team. We were beaten today by an average team who were coached superbly. Moyes is without doubt the worse manager in the PL. He is completely out of his dept I firmly now believe that Moyes will never change no matter who we sign. He is taking the soul out of the club He is the problem no one else. I really hope the club realise this as our season could be over before it really starts. I hope they also realise that they cannot allow him to sign the players he wants as he will not be around for too long. The fans will not tolerate this any longer.
Problem is, John – it doesn’t seem to matter what we think. Sullivan is old and wants to avoid drama – I don’t blame him for that – but it means that rather than do the right thing and let Moyes go, he skirts around the edges and Moyes continues oblivious to anyone else’s opinion. The whole thing is a total shambles, and Steidten must be wondering why he came.

our pre season opponents are a big mistake, we can not keep playing teams that we want to be like, its destroying our morale, these teams have youth, speed, and flair, something we desperately need, but are miles away from, shows our europa league hopes. lol.
we need to stick to the non league teams, like dagenham, they can still score many goals against us, thats how good we are, but at least they dont beat us, crushing our morale.
