Be proud as Noble heads for his 200th

|

NobleMark Noble is all set to make his 200th Premier League appearance for the club at Burnley – if selected!

Watch Twitter too closely and you will find some pretty extreme and not particularly good natured comments about the lad and that angers me.

In an age when foreigners come – kiss the badge  and move on the minute a bigger deal is on the table – loyal lads from the likes of Canning Town and the like as rare as they come.

Mark is as good at what he does, breaking down play and spraying it about as well as most and I for one hope he makes it onto the pitch for his big day.

The manager is keeping his plans pretty close to his chest as usual and there’s nothing wrong with that but I’ll be amazed and disappointed if Nobes doesn’t get the call.

The lad himself is enjoying life enormously and in a comment on www.whufc.com says: “The start of the season has been one of my most enjoyable periods at West Ham United.  If I do get on the pitch I’ll be very proud.”

And so should all Irons fans in a football age such as this one!

If Noble doesn’t get in the team ahead of a loanee who has basically joined us to put himself in the shop window (Song) i for one would be very disappointed.Song should only play when injuries occur now he’s made his intentions clear.I also agree Nobes is as good as anyone for interupting other teams play, interceptions, passing his tackling, and his running, his engine is ceaseless. No 100% is what Mark Noble gives to West Ham,and above all he loves and supports the team he plays for,he hurts more than most in that dressing room when we lose. Happy 200th Mark hope there’s many more to come. C.O.Y.I.

Hi Hugh thanx for another great post. Im a big Noble fan and fed up with so called supporters digging at him and saying hes slow and ponderous and takes the pace out of our attacks.
I’ll let the facts speck for them self He has scored one goal and has created eight chances in five league appearances, while having a pass accuracy of 87% and a shot accuracy of 67%.
you dont get 200 appearances if your no good. AND as you said to me loyalty counts for an awful lot these days Reid should take note its not all about the money ! if your good enough the pay rise will come. COYI

I agree with most of this article, however I would not like him to play Saturday.

Would it not be much better if Noble, the loyal servant to our great club, make his 200th Premier League appearance at Man City at home?

    IMO would be more fitting.
