Adrian could be poised to make a first team return at Hull tomorrow as the Irons go in pursuit of their first clean sheet in nine attempts having conceded 17 goals along the way.
Darren Randolph has come in for much criticism along the way with calls for the Spaniard to again regain the first team sweater.
There have been no ‘leaks’ as to what Slav may do but it won’t come as a big surprise if he rests Randolph for a game which is of crucial importance to the team’s seasons.
With just Jose Fonte and James Collins available as the central defensive pairing the manager is likely to go for flat back four with Sam Byram on the right side and possibly Arhtur Masuaku on the left.
That would allow Cheik Kouyate to take up his more effective central midfield role alongside captain mark Noble with Robert Snodgrass wide right and Andre Ayew on the left side with Manu Lanzini tucked in behind Andy Carroll.
Hammers possible line up: Adrian; Byram, Collins, Fonte, Masuaku; Snodgrass, Noble, Kouyate, Ayew; Lanzini and Carroll.
That side would get my vote. I’d give Adrian the shirt for the rest of the season as that will determine whether we go out and buy a keeper in the summer or not. I’d be tempted to drop Cresswell for Masuaka but I’m relaxed on that because I think Cresswell will come good. I’m going for 1-2 the Irons. I honestly do not think the injuries have weakened us a great deal.
How do you know that “Bilic ponders crucial change at Hull”? Has he told you or have you got a crystal ball?
You have pondered your crystal ball .. not Bilic . I like the set up whoevers balls are responsible apart from NOBLE !! Fernandez is a No Brainer in midfield with Kouyate. Pace , athleticism, and energy of youth . We all know what Noble can no longer do so lets give the team a boost with some young blood . COYI
Pmsl laughing you must be content the fooball is back bubbles. You can get back to Noble bashing.
