Bilic: “We haven’t turned the season round”

|

BilicSlaven Bilic is too long in the tooth to declare the season has been turned around but he is hopeful things are now on the right course.

Despite a dreadful game at West Brom, Bilic is confident that the positives are slowly overtaking the West Ham negatives.

Let’s be honest, the Hammers didn’t do enough to win the game or to claim they dominated it, with both sides havineg barely creating a chance or two between them.

But in general terms the Hawthorns is a tough place to go and the manager has a right to feel pleased that they came away with a point although with more ambition it would probably have been more.

He said: “We can’t say we’ve turned the season around. It’s too early to say this. But we get the confidence back and get the pattern back. We definitely have something to be positive about.

“To have two clean sheets is very important for the whole team. Hopefully, we are going to do better in the last third of the pitch.”
