Bilic’s shock return

|

Slaven Bilic has been appointed Watford boss, per BBC Sport!

The former Hammers manager has been immediately installed after the Championship club sacked Rob Edwards after just 11 games.

Watford are currently 10th in the Championship, with 14 points from 10 games, but are notoriously trigger-happy and have now sacked Edwards.

Bilic has been out of management since leaving Beijing Guoan in China, and will now return to England.

The former Hammers boss spent two years in the dugout in east London, from 2015 to 2017, while he has also managed West Brom.

Watford are now on their ninth manager in three years, and it remains to be seen if Bilic will be able to meet their exacting standards.

One has to think that they are expecting to win promotion back to the Premier League after their relegation last term, as they finished 19th with just 23 points, 15 points behind 17th-placed Leeds, who managed to survive on the final day of the season.
