Jarrod Bowen had a second scan on his bruised heel today with the club concerned something may have been missed by the first one.

David Moyes admitted after tonight’s defeat in Spain by Seville that he was uncertain when the player would return but that the injury could maybe clear up quickly.

The Number 20 remained in London today with there being no chance of him taking part in the game and went for a second scan earlier  despite the first scan showing there was nothing substantially wrong.

Moyes  explained the club was trying to “get to the bottom of things” as the injury wasn’t clearing up as quickly as they would like.

Today’s second scan, like the first,  showed hat there nothing untoward with the heel although the player continues to struggle.

ClaretandHugh was told: “The second scan seem to be okay but Jarrod remains in pain when he runs etc.”

We can be 100% certain that he and the club will do everything humanly possible to have him ready for the return leg. We really missed him yesterday.

If this is bruising to the bone of the heel, it can take an age to clear up, Lets hope it’s not that.
