Carroll Watford fitness update

|

Slaven-Bilic-Andy-Carroll-Football365Andy Carroll is again a doubtful starter for the match against Watford at Vicarage Road.

The big fella was confidently expected to be back for the weekend but it seems there are some some fitness worries surrounding the striker.

However, there is confidence that he will be taking his place in the squad although will in all probability be on the bench with Michail Antonio again starting in the central striker’s role.

It’s a  blow for Irons fans who were fully expecting the big man to be ready for action against the Hornets.

However, ClaretandHugh was told this afternoon: ” He’s doubtful as far as starting the game is concerned but it really is great news that the groin injury is isent sorted now 100 per sorted.

However, he has missed several weeks of training so we can’t consider him fit to play from the start against Watford.”

If his groin has cleared up thats good good news.I expect him to play some part Saturday, only a feeling in my water mind,no inside info available to me lol

Keep him on the bench Saturday & if needed he will be called upon im guessing.Nothing to have a pant wetting session about it seems 😁

  • Stan The Man says:

Go tell the usual suspects its nothing to wet your pants about young Radai they are on one over there. Not that it should come as a shock lol

Stan – looks like you’re ignoring Hugh’s advice from earlier about ignoring the other site!

Bloody hell the goal Zaza just scored for Valencia,it was different class.I thought i had entered the twightlight zone or a parallel universe 😂

    • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

It is a cracking goal, he looks fit and sharp at Valencia, that was what Slav was expecting from him, it does kind of reiterate his point that he was not eating right and training hard enough because if you look at his body shape he looks a lot leaner than he did towards the end of his spell with us. Good luck to him, he was honest that he was to blame for his failure with us, he is now starting to show why the club were willing to take a chance on him and that Slav saw what he was capable of, he just didn’t produce it for us.

I can live with him being a washout for us, but to start scoring after he has left- that is really gonna spoil my day! Plus no Carroll again…Will a striker not called Carroll get a goal for us? Not many of those this season unless you count Antonia as a striker. Actually, what IS his position?

  • John says:

Slaven Mind Games. Carroll will start and bag a hatrick before the oranges then put his feet up for the 2nd half.

    • Roman says:

Remember I told you last week John the China doll wouldn’t start at Vicarage Road.If he were in China he would be getting acupuncture and Chinese medicines every day but he gets plenty needles on this site every time he gets injured.lol
